How much can I make?
Great question! This position is 100% commission based. We pride ourselves on having the highest compensation in the industry.
Do I get residuals?
Yes! You get vested renewals from day one!
Am I a captive agent?
No. All J. Gavin Financial Agents are free to work as an agent with other employers or for themselves.
Can I work part-time?
Yes. You can work part-time. Many agents start as part-time and as they increase their business, they make the switch to full-time.
Do I already need to be a licensed agent?
No. You do not have to be a licensed agent; we can provide you with the education and training needed to get licensed.
Am I truly independent?
Yes. You are free to run your business as you wish.
Can I build an agency?
Yes. If you would like to build your own agency, you can recruit agents to be part of your team; however, this is not a requirement.
How many carriers do you have?
We have over 20 carriers. As an independent contractor, you are able to get contracted with all of them or just a few. The choice is yours!
Can I sell in other states besides my home state?
Absolutely! If you are licensed in other states besides your home state, you can sell in other states, but it is not required.
